about  Deanna
Deanna’s interest in yoga began early in her adult life.  Twenty
years later, after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, her yoga
practice became a necessary part of her life.  When she discovered
that yoga was a key piece to her return to “wellness”, she decided
study yoga more in depth.  Deanna received her teacher training
certification, 230 hr Yoga Alliance Certification, through Ashville
Yoga Center. She continues to be a “student” of yoga continuing her
education in the area of yoga therapy.

Deanna is a mother of 2 young daughters and works as a teacher
for children who are deaf/hard of hearing. She like many students is
not innately flexible or thin. Her hope is to inspire her students, who
have full and busy lives, different body types, challenges or illness to
explore what yoga has to offer.
